I added freon and ac dosen’t blow cold air?

I followed instructions and just blows hot air. for 1991 toyota added "Auto Air Air Conditioning REFRIGERANT 134a with seal leak"

the a/c system needs to be recharged, if you did that it should have blown cold air at least for a while. If you needed refidgerant then you have a leak for sure, best thing is to take it to the shop and have them recharge your system and add in DYE so they can see where your leak is.

My central air conditioning unit has stopped working. The AC UNIT outside works (spinning) but doesn't cool!

  1. Your condensor or evaportator is probably shot. ‘91 is quite old.

  3. I’m no AC guy but isn’t there a huge difference in the gases between freon and r134? I believe the r134a system also works at a different pressure than a freon system?

  4. How many cans did you add? I have a crown vic. same thing it took 5 cans. But if that doesn’t work, you should check the compressor.
