NO no no!! dyson is over priced and the cheapest vacuum you can buy! (plus i don't think they make a hand held) Look at the Riccar Supraquick. It is very small, has tons of power. It plugs in, don't get a battery opperated one if you want it to last more then two years. The supraquick is perfect for cars, and it is powerfull enough and convenient enough to vacuum hard floors and you can put a turbine head on it if you want to do carpet.
