I tried joining the Marines active but got denied at MEPS for a medical condition they told me to get it corrected with surgery and I could come back to join. In the mean time I started going back to college and have decided to go reserves with the possibility of maybe becoming an officer when I get my bachelors. So I could go 0300 Marines Reserves, have fun, get good training, meet cool guys and just be a Marine but I have two really good friends that want me to go Air Force reserves with them. It would be cool to be with them but im not cut out for the special forces or whatever they call it, I cant sit behind a desk, and security forces seems alright but Ive heard you could get stuck with long days guarding a door or jet. dont feel like being a military glorified security guard if thats what they do. the videos say their cops/dog handlers though. so what is it. I think im gonna stick with the USMC but I figured id listen to what other people have to say. please no stupid people with their b.s. dont join get a real job its a waste

If you are planning to do any traveling, either business or personal, you’ll likely want to rent a car upon arrival at your destination. Most airports have car rental agencies onsite for your convenience. These tips on how to rent a car will help you get the best deal.
The major international car rental agencies have offices throughout North America and often around the world. There is no such thing as the best company in this industry. It really does pay to shop around. Rates will depend on the type of vehicle, the time period, and things like agency specials. You can easily compare prices online and you can reserve your car online too.
Almost all rental cars have automatic transmission, radio, and Air Conditioning. Even if you request a manual transmission, chances are it won’t be available upon arrival. If you are traveling with children that will require car restraint seats, make sure to request them when you book your car.
If you are renting a car in the US, you usually do not need an international driver’s license. Your license from your home country should be adequate. That said, an international license can be helpful in proving to the agency that you have a valid license especially if they aren’t familiar with the licenses from your country.
Rental companies have different rules about who they will rent to. Some will not rent to anyone under the age of 25 while others won’t rent to anyone over the age of 70. Other rent to drivers under 25 but charge a premium. Check with the agencies for restrictions before you book.
The car rental business is extremely competitive so prices change frequently. Some companies offer regular advertised deals; others run random special promotions. If business is slow you are likely to be able to get a better rate than if you are trying to rent during peak seasons. No one agency has the monopoly on best prices. It just depends, so do your homework and don’t be afraid to try to barter a better price!
Sometimes if you booked through a travel agent, you might get a better price on your rental car. Some packages even include the rental fees. Compare these offers to see which is best.
The car rental insurance is where many agencies really soak you. The collision damage waiver and theft insurance they attempt to sell you is priced ridiculously high. But you also cannot risk driving without it. Some auto insurance companies have a rider that covers you and some credit cards also provide you with free coverage. See what you can do to avoid purchasing the rental agency’s insurance because it can almost double the price of your rental.
Now that you know how to rent a car and get the best deal, you’ll have a few extra dollars in your pocket to start planning that next vacation.

For some offices and establishments the air conditioner is an absolute must. Depending on the time of year. weather and climate where a business is locate the air conditioner might be a have to for an establishment. However, there are some easy steps and thing you can do to great decrease the cost of using an air conditioner. By following the steps below you will save a great deal of money.
Always On?
Air conditioning doesn’t always have to be on. The first thing you have consider when maintaining an air-conditioning unit is that it doesn’t have to always be on. You can schedule the air-conditioning to be turned on during peak hours when the weather is too hot. If you have more than one unit you could rotate them to function depending on their need.
During some parts of the day you only need one or two units to keep the building comfortably cool. And during noontime, you may need all of your units open. Just make sure you study a workable schedule that optimizes the use of your air-conditioning units.
Regular Maintenance
Regular maintenance can greatly increase the performance of your air-conditioning units. While regular maintenance may seem like a cost increasing method, it actually reduces the cost of operations for your air-conditioning units. This is because air-conditioning units that aren’t well maintained don’t perform as well as those that are.
A decrease in the air conditioners performance means it eats more electricity just to arrive at the same temperature than it would normally need. That is why cleaning and maintaining an air-conditioning unit is vital to saving money on their use.
Turn Off Early
Always turn off the air-conditioning unit 30 minutes before leaving the building. Some people turn off their air-conditioning units just as they are about to leave the building. The fact is, you can turn off your air-conditioning units a good while before you leave. That is because it takes about 30 minutes for the temperature of the room to go back to being uncomfortable.
The Right Air Conditioner
Choose the right kind of air-conditioning. Choosing the right kind of air-conditioning for your room and saving money on electricity costs are synonymous with each other. If you are trying to air-condition a small room, then a smaller horsepower air-conditioner would be sufficient. If you install the larger more energy hungry air-conditioner, you would spend more than you need.
It is important to keep the cost of your Air Conditioning habits in mind and always try to think about ways you can save money on it’s usage. Simple turning it off 30 minutes before leaving work for the day and not using it in the morning can help save a good deal of money. Also making sure that the unit you own fits well with your needs and specific requirements can be a huge help.

Video 2 of 2 of the air conditioners and heat pumps at my work. The units in this video consist of 5 Janitrols and 3 Tranes.
Among these is the Trane Executive High-Efficiency Weathertron heat pump that I got requests to make an up-close video of. Upon closer inspection, I found out that Trane was manufactured in January 1988, and I do not think it is operational at the moment.
I can distinguish the two smaller Janitrols as heat pumps because I can see the reversing valves, but the other three have their “guts” concealed in a cabinet at the rear of the unit so I am unable to tell. All 5 Janitrols are from the mid-90s
The two larger Tranes seem
to be straight-cool units. One is from 2002 and one is from 1988.
Enjoy!

The Air Conditioning was still running and pouring out cold air. The auto finction did not shut off the fan outside. Any ideas what the issue may be?
I have tried to set the thermostat at different degrees. Slightly higher and lower than what the current temp was. The fan does not stop. It continues to cool and drop in temp!
Ok, first of all the ‘auto’ and ‘on’ have nothing to do with cooling or heating that setting just controls how your fan operates. In ‘auto’ the fan cycles on and off with the heating or cooling. In ‘on’ the fan runs continuously regardless of whether the heating or cooling is on. If your cooling is running and the thermostat is set well above what the temperature is at the thermostat you either have a bad thermostat or a shorted control wire.
